The Electronics Product Development Center (EPDC) was invited as a resource speaker during the Colegio de San Juan de Letran – Manila 2nd Engineering Symposium with a theme of “VORTEX: CENTERING ON SUSTAINABLE ENGINEERING INNOVATION” held last Saturday, March 9 at the school’s auditorium. Engr. Felixberto A. Dolot III, Senior Science Research Specialist and Sales & Marketing Head of EPDC discussed Electronics Product Prototyping and Electromagnetic Compatibility testing. He also discussed current and future services available at the laboratory facility.
The symposium consisted of two parts, a nontechnical session in the morning focusing on trends on sustainable engineering innovations and solutions including engineering industry evolution and four parallel technical sessions in the afternoon featuring specific technology, operation, and process trends in each of the four engineering academic fields, namely, Electronics, Electrical, Civil and Industrial Engineering. a separate session for each major. Each session shall feature two talks about new and emerging operations, technologies, and processes in the specific engineering field.

The event was organized by the graduating class of the four engineering disciplines whose objectives are one, to inculcate awareness of engineering evolution through technical and nontechnical seminars, two, to bridge the gap between learners and practitioners for better learning and lastly, to introduce innovative and sustainable solutions and technologies.
The event was attended by around 500 student delegates from different schools. Christine Joy Marasigan and Raymart Espanto, Program Committee Head, Anthony Ian Rentoy, Event Committee Head, bannered Colegio de San Juan de Letran – Manila’s student delegates. Engr. Ireneo Quinto and Engr. Ma. Abigail Jordan, student advisers, were also present during the event.
