The Electronics Product Development Center (EPDC) participated in the Philippine Suppliers and Manufacturers Exhibition (PSMEX) held March 27-30 at the Hall B and C of the World Trade Center, Buendia, Pasay City. This year’s theme is entitled “Make in the Philippines” as the vent aims to showcase the country’s manufacturing capabilities and capacity to the international market.

PSMEX is an international event that caters to both local and international audiences which covers the whole business platform beneficial to suppliers, distributors, and end-users. It is an event that showcases the capability of Philippine products and services to the world.
For EPDC, this is an opportunity to support the Aerospace Industries Association of the Philippines (AIAP) in their research and development activities and testing requirements. AIAP was founded in 2012 with a core vision of making the Philippines be a major hub for manufacturing OEM parts and allied services (Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul – MRO) for the global commercial aircraft industry.
Mr. Dennis Y. Chan, PSMEX Steering Committee Chairman and President of the AIAP delivered the welcome remarks. Engr. Robert Dizon, Executive Director of Metals Industry Research and Development Center (MIRDC), Keynote speaker, discussed on the manufacturing and service capabilities of the Philippines.
BGen. Charito B. Plaza, Engr. Robert Dizon, Mr. John Lee, AIAP Chairman, and Matthew Baxter of Rockwell Collins Philippines, officially opened the exhibit.
The event was co-sponsored by MAI (Market Access & Innovations) Events Management Philippines and the Aerospace Industries Association of the Philippines.
