Notes:
  • EPDC EMC laboratory test service cost estimates will be drafted based on the hourly rates.
  • EPDC EMC laboratory test bookings should be advised at least a week and the laboratory will advise the customer if the facility is available or not.
  • The above rates are subject to change without prior notice.
  • Please be advised that as a National Government Agency, payments are not subject to the expanded withholding tax pursuant to Section 2.57.5 (A) of the BIR Revenue Regulations 2-98.
  • EPDC EMC laboratory terms below will be applied and only reflected herein for information and guidance
1. Schedule and Pricing Estimate
  • Booking of test schedule will be finalized once the PO has been received by EPDC.
  • The cost estimate is valid for 3 months from date of issue. EMC test services will not be undertaken until a signed acceptance of this estimate and PO are received by EPDC from the customer.
  • This is an estimate only. If actual rendered hours were different, EPDC will issue a revised quotation in which the customer will use to issue a revised Purchase Order (PO).
  • EPDC shall request the Customer to provide resource person during EMC testing, who is knowledgeable on the design and operation of the Equipment Under Test (EUT) and its associated equipment.
  • When performing EMC testing, Customer resource person is NOT allowed to operate any EMC test equipment. Only EMC laboratory personnel are allowed to operate any EMC test equipment.
  • EPDC shall request Customer to provide the appropriate Associated Equipment including but not limited to, cables that are necessary for the proper operation and EMC performance of the product during EMC testing. Any schedule and cost impacts on the EMC testing due to inappropriate Associated Equipment or, but not limited to cables shall be borne by the Customer.
  • EPDC shall request Customer to provide the appropriate supplies that are necessary for the proper operation of the EUT during EMC testing.
  • The counting of rendered hours shall start at the time when Customer has taken over the EMC test slot, which includes but not limited to. :
  • Customer sets up the EUT in the EMC test area.
  • Customer performs debug or rework on the EUT.
  • Counting of rendered hours would end when Customer removes the EUT setup in the test area and after the Customer declares that the testing has ended.
