Altium, through its Philippine representative, PCB Graphtech, conducted its first Technical seminar on Altium Designer 2019 software last March 14 held at the Titanium Auditorium of the Metals Industry Research and Development Center (MIRDC). The seminar was conducted by Joao Beck (John), Altium’s Field Applications Engineer, in collaboration with PCB Graphtech, headed by Vincent Chua and the Electronics Product Development Center (EPDC).
The seminar discussed the use of the Altium Designer software for native 3D Printed Circuit Board (PCB) Computer-Aided Design. The software incorporates all the tools engineers and PCB designers need into a single, stress-free user interface. The software dramatically increases design successes, while reducing overall design times.
EPDC is using Altium Designer software for its workstations and PCB designs. From concept to PCB design, 3D modeling, and output generation for final manufacture, Altium Designer provides EPDC an efficient and powerful tool to help the academe, start-ups, and small & medium-sized enterprises in their own design initiatives.
The event was attended by different industry practitioners, academe and government agencies involved with PCB and product design.
