The Electronics Industries of the Philippines requested the government through the Department of Science and Technology (DOST) to have a testing facility that is capable of doing the Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) measurement that is internationally accredited.
With this effort, SGS Philippines, through Ms. Rubylene Osila conducted the Technical Assistance Training for ISO17025:2017 which started last May 18, 2018, and ended on August 22, 2018, with topics focusing on Pre-implementation, Development, and Post Development of the EPDC EMC laboratory preparation. This was attended by the ISO17025 Core team headed by Engr. Felixberto Dolot III (QMR).

Another Technical training for Measurement Uncertainty (MU) and A2LA Pre – Assessment topics was conducted by Global Compliance Consulting (GCC) through Mr. Thomas Dickten for a duration of 5days which started last October 22, 2018, until October 26, 2018. Participants of this training were the EMC technical team headed by EMC and Test Engineering Head Engr. Julius T. Solomon.
